The Mid-Somerset show offers something for everyone including the ever popular Sheep Show as well as new livestock classes, trade stands, The Cheese Awards, The Somerset Cider Championships, plus lots of Main Ring entertainment. With entry remaining ‘free’ for pedestrians and only £20 for carparking, the show provides a fantastic fun-filled ‘value for money’ day out for all the family. Town meets Country at traditional one-day Agricultural show
The Mid-Somerset Show is a traditional one day agricultural show with new breed specific livestock classes including cattle, pigs and sheep. Our equestrian classes include heavy horses, driving, hunter classes and showjumping. Whilst in other parts of the show you can see poultry, arts and crafts, flower show, floral art, classic cars, vintage vehicles as well as the Cheese Awards and the Somerset Cider Championship. Something for everyone...
Accessibility
Blue badge holder parking is available in the Purple Car Park. Disabled parking fees are the same as general parking fees. All pre-purchased car parking tickets can be used at the Purple gate provided a valid Blue Badge is also presented. Tickets can also be purchased at the Purple gate.

How to find the show.
The Mid Somerset Showground, Cannard’s Grave Road, Shepton Mallet BA4 4GF
From the M5:
Leave M5 at junction 23 and follow the A39 to Street and onto Glastonbury. In Glastonbury take the A361 to Shepton Mallet. At Shepton Mallet continue towards the A37, and signs will direct you to showground parking.
From the A303:
Leave the A303 at Podimore roundabout and join the A37 signposted to Shepton Mallet. Once on the edge of Shepton Mallet road signs will direct you to showground parking.
