Cheddar to Goat's Cheese
Being based in the centre of Somerset’s cheese making country the Mid-Somerset Show has a strong history of featuring cheese classes, and the South West Cheese Awards were a successful addition to the Show in 2011. Since they have gone from strength to strength and now with 66 different classes covering Cheddar to Goat’s Cheese and Stilton to Brie, the awards are a fantastic opportunity to showcase the finest cheese makers in our region.
Winning Cheese Auction
Visitors will have the opportunity to buy the award winning cheeses in the cheese auction held on Show afternoon, and they will have the chance to taste and buy some of the area’s finest cheeses from the many trade stands surrounding the South West Cheese Awards.

Cannard’s Grave Road, Shepton Mallet BA4 4GF
From M5:
Leave M5 at junction 23 and follow the A39 to Street and onto Glastonbury. In Glastonbury take the A361 to Shepton Mallet. At Shepton Mallet continue towards the A37, and signs will direct you to showfield parking.
From A303:
Leave the A303 at Podimore roundabout and join the A37 signposted to Shepton Mallet. Once on the edge of Shepton Mallet road signs will direct you to showfield parking.
