THE award-winning Mid-Somerset Show has announced Brothers Cider as its latest sponsor.
The Shepton Mallet-based cider producers have become diamond sponsors of the popular one-day agricultural show.
Following the local company’s contribution, the famous Brothers bar will be joining the show selling some of its renowned flavours and the vintage field will now be named Mallets Cider Vintage Field.
Matthew Showering, Director at Brothers Cider, said: “We are delighted in becoming involved with this great Shepton Mallet show and are glad we can support it and our local community”
Ian Harvey, Chairman of the Mid-Somerset Show, said: “In order to keep the show free for pedestrians, sponsorship is essential and we’re always looking for local businesses who can support us. We’re very grateful to Brothers Cider.”
This year’s show is taking place on Sunday 21st August and will be welcoming back the Sheep Roadshow, as well as introducing new additions such as a grandstand and meerkat display.
Schedules for the livestock dog show, horses, cheese, and arts and crafts are now available on the Mid-Somerset Show event page.
