Speaking about his appointment he said: “I’m thrilled to be President for the 2021 Mid-Somerset Show.
“Agricultural shows have undergone an incredibly tough year, like a lot of people and businesses, but it’s great to see the Mid-Somerset Show returning and with so much to look forward to as it starts a new chapter in its new home, and I’m delighted to be a part of it.
“It’s a fantastic event that attracts so many local families, farmers and exhibitors and is a real opportunity to see the best of what Somerset has to offer.”
This year’s show will take place on Sunday 15th August 2021 on the new site at Cannard’s Grave in Shepton Mallet – just a few fields up from the original showground.
