| ACOUSTIC STAGE SET TO BE A BIG HIT AT SHOW |
If you have a talent, whether it’s the latest street dance moves, playing a musical instrument or you are a budding actor or actress, you could get your fifteen minutes of fame on the stage. An Acoustic stage will be a new feature of the Mid-Somerset Show, organisers are looking for acts to appear and entertain the crowds. From singers, majorettes and dancers to drummers, jazz musicians and players, if you think you have a talent this could be your chance to be on the stage.
Christine Barham, show secretary, said: “The acoustic stage will be a great addition to the show and we have already had a number of acts come forward to be part of the programme on the day, but there is still room for lots more. “We want the stage to host a variety of acts, the show has always focused on being a great family day out and ensuring that there is something for everyone and this new attraction will certainly continue that tradition.”
The Acoustic Stage will be supported on the day by Nunney Acoustic Café who will also be providing light refreshments around the stage area for spectators on the day.  | | Classic Cars moving to the Main Arena Field |
The popularity of the Addlestones Classic Vintage & Steam Field is such that to accomodate all the exhibitors that enjoy attending our show it is necessary to relocate the Classic Car Display to the Main Arena Field.
We had to close entries last year when the area became fully subscribed, please book early to avoid dissapointment.
